ChinaIn May 2007 we went back to China with a group of 35 fellow travellers. Once again our national guide “Nancy” (Zhang Na) did a great job as we visited some of the same places and added in some new gardens along the way. Those that toured will always remember Frank Campbell who passed away while on tour while in Kunming. I remember him always saying that he wanted 3 things before he died – to walk on the Great Wall, to see the Terracotta Warriors and to have the love of a Chinese woman! He saw the Great Wall and the terracotta warriors at least. We visited the sites and gardens of Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Kunming, Suzhou, Nanjing and Guangzhou and again cruised the mighty Yangtze River.

Western AustraliaOur first Australian garden tour saw a group of 22 travel with Stonestreets Coaches as the tour company to visit gardens, sites and national parks in the south west of Western Australia. The tour started with a flight to Perth and then coach journey to Margaret River, Albany, Stirling Ranges, Northam, New Norcia, the Pinnacles and back to Perth to see the Wildflower show at Kings Park Garden in Perth. Great gardens, wildflowers and beautiful scenery marked this trip as memorable.
