In May 2006 we undertook our first garden tour with a fantastic group of 34 people. To say that we were nervous would be an understatement but the tour went very well with China Travel Service as the tour providers. Our national guide “Nancy” (Zhang Na) did a great job as we visited the sites and gardens of Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Kunming, Suzhou, Nanjing and Guangzhou and cruised the mighty Yangtze River. The success of this tour gave us the confidence to plan and promote more garden tours.
