Madagascar!

Tour information

There is something alluring about Madagascar. I have always read about the incredible number of indemic plants that are from this island country. Many of them have become garden mainstream favourites. It has inspired adventures and movie makers alike. To be able to go is something I have always wanted to do! During this guided small group adventure, you are going to be:
  • Getting up close and personal with Madagascar's unique wildlife, including lemurs
  • Exploring ancient cultures and traditions
  • Relaxing on a pristine beaches
  • Learning more about the flora and fauna that can only be found on this remote island
Making a difference in the world by travelling with a responsible tourism provider who donates 50% of our profits to support education and conservation initiatives across Africa. Throughout the adventure, you will immerse yourself in Madagascar’s unique communities, discover local traditions, and even pick up a few Malagasy phrases as you connect more deeply with the incredible people you meet.
I think the tour represents good value for money with many tour inclusions and meals.
Tour highlights should include:
  • Interesting wildlife and wildflowers all the way along
  • Cultural experiences beyond the everyday
  • Great looking accomodtion in eco lodges, hotels and beach resorts
  • local guides

Our tour operator -
Adventure out Loud

Adventure Out Loud is a social enterprise based in Brisbane specialising in African travel with a purpose. The following words are from their website
To us, this means we put the same emphasis on making a difference as making a profit. That is why we donate 50% of our profits to keep disadvantaged children in school.  We also believe in doing the right thing. To us, this means:
  • Buying local where possible,
  • Paying fair wages for local staff and contractors,
  • Taking responsibility for reducing our environmental impact,
  • Contributing to animal conservation, and
  • Respecting and preserving local culture.
I am really pleased to be working with Nate on this tour as I think we will see some amazing sites,  thanks to his expertise and experience,  and also play a small part in leaving something behind in the communities we visit.
We worked with this company for our 2025 Kenya and Tanzania tour and they were fabulous.
