This will be Wattletrees first tour to Victoria since 2017!
We had planned a trip to include the Grampians, Daylesford, gardens of Mt Macedon and the Melbourne Flower Show for quite some time but plans were delayed for obvious reasons. The plan is to fly into Melbourne airport and pick up a coach to head to Falls Gap in the Grampians stopping in Ballarat along the way. We will spend time exploring some of this most scenic region staying for 3 nights before 2 nights in picturesque Daylesford. We will visit National parks, waterfalls, viewing points and undertake some short walks as well as visiting a few nearby towns. This tour includes a few of my favourite Victorian gardens including Lambley Nursery, Tieve Tara and Forest Glade. We will also visit a number of quite special regional botanical gardens and parks including the award winning Begonia House in Ballarat. Next the tour will have 2 nights in Melbourne in a centrally located hotel to visit the largest garden show in the Southern Hemisphere - The Melbourne Flower and Garden Show. I think the tour represents good value for money with many tour inclusions and meals.
