May 1 - 16
Victoria Falls and Botswana

Tour information

This African adventure will explore the amazing Victoria Falls area in Zimbabawe before getting up close to Botswana's most exotic animals with daily game drives under the guidance of experienced and professional safari guides. Victoria Falls is one of the great waterfalls of the world and the area around the Falls is interesting with the mighty Zambezi river providing life for the area. We will have a relaxing sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River - it is a great chance to both relax and spot wildlife. We will also have a cultural dinner at Dusty Rd, a local community supported by Adventure out Loud. I have found these type of experiences provide an authentic view of local life.
The main safari will be visiting Botswana's best game parks, including the:
  • Okavango Delta - Botswana's best safari park with a huge array of birds and mammals
  • Mababe -  A private community run reserve where you will go searching for leopards and wild dogs, and where hippos may greet you from the small river downhill from your dining area.
  • Savuti - With it's diverse ecosystems and unforgettable animal viewing.
  • Chobe Riverfront - Where boat safaris offer a unique opportunity to safari.
Sleeping inside the national parks with a support crew to look after your every wish and ensure you have a safe and unforgettable glamping experience. Enjoying a mixture of game drives, boat safaris and canoe safaris, designed to offer you the most immersive and authentic safari experience.
Throughout the adventure, you'll immerse yourself in the local communities you visit, gaining a deeper understanding of their way of life while enjoying an unforgettable safari experience. Adventure Out Loud also donate 50% of their profits to keep disadvantaged children in school, meaning you'll be making a huge difference in the fight against poverty, simply by booking this trip.
I think the tour represents good value for money with many tour inclusions and meals.
Tour highlights should include:
  • Interesting wildlife and wildflowers all the way along
  • Cultural experiences beyond the everyday
  • Safari camps
  • local guides
  • Private transport and safari jeeps with local drivers and a guides
  • tour group size limited to 14
  • all organised!

Our tour operator -
Adventure out Loud

Adventure Out Loud is a social enterprise based in Brisbane specialising in African travel with a purpose. The following words are from their website
To us, this means we put the same emphasis on making a difference as making a profit. That is why we donate 50% of our profits to keep disadvantaged children in school.  We also believe in doing the right thing. To us, this means:
  • Buying local where possible,
  • Paying fair wages for local staff and contractors,
  • Taking responsibility for reducing our environmental impact,
  • Contributing to animal conservation, and
  • Respecting and preserving local culture.
I am really pleased to be working with Nate on this tour as I think we will see some amazing sites,  thanks to his expertise and experience,  and also play a small part in leaving something behind in the communities we visit.
We worked with this company for our 2025 Kenya and Tanzania tour and they were fabulous.
